John Fisher - Founder/Managing Director

John started Business for Breakfast in 2001 with his wife Mel.

In the early years they built up and ran many successful Breakfast Clubs in the North West of England, piloting what is now a very refined and successful operating methodology.

As Managing Director John is still actively involved running the company from the head office in Manchester and is looking at taking the concept to international markets.

Mel Fisher - Strategy Director

Mel started her career in cost control and operations for a major Cruise Ship and Move into restaurant management, Mel ran a team of 22 staff in a twenty four hour operation in the Dubai Marine Beach Resort and Spa.

In 2001 Mel joined John to start Business for Breakfast.   Mel’s role is at the heart of the company using her skills and experience to set up and run the operations of the business and runs the busy head office in Manchester.

Mel developed the processes that are now at the heart of the Franchise model and is responsible for the delivery of strategic support to ensure a new franchisee earns money from their first month in business.

Paul Richards - Operations Director

Paul Started his career in the Armed Forces and upon leaving spent 20 years in retail culminating in a position as a Regional Manager running 27 stores with a turnover of £480m. 

Paul’s extensive experience in finance, operational and communications was tested in his role as Head of Sales and Operations for a self storage company which grew from humble beginning to being the firth largest in the UK in 3 years.

Paul has the responsibility of managing all operational and finance management support to ensure franchisees gain the greatest benefit from their investment.
